PAIGE POWERS

Paige started studying Pilates and Gyrotonic® in 1996 at Florida State University where she received her BFA in Dance and BS in Anthropology.  She danced professionally in NYC and became a certified instructor in Gyrotonic® in 2001 and Gyrokinesis® in 2004.  Paige is AFAA certified as a personal trainer and has studied Kinesiology, Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais, Laban Movement Analysis, Ortho-Bionomy®, SF Qigong, Reiki, and Neurokinetic Therapy®.  Paige is a NCCAOM board certified acupuncturist, licensed by the Board of Medical Practice of Minnesota.  She graduated Valedictorian and summa cum laude from Northwestern Health Sciences University, with a master's degree in Acupuncture.  She has treated patients at Woodwinds Hospital,  Abbott Northwestern Hospital including their joint replacement center, Courage-Kenny Rehabilitation Inpatient Institute, UMMC Children’s Hospital, Pillsbury House Integrated Health Clinic, Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center, and the Human Performance Center for professional athletes. 

Paige's internships included University Health Services, Edith Davis Clinic, Bloomington Natural Care Clinic, Salvation Army Harbor Light Center, Woodwinds Inpatient Hospital,  Woodwinds Natural Care outpatient clinic, Penny George Institute for Health and Healing at Abbott Northwestern Hospital including emergency room and intensive care units, Courage-Kenny Rehabilitation Inpatient Institute, UMMC Children’s Hospital, Pillsbury House Integrated Health Clinic, Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center, and the Human Performance Center for professional athletes.
